Not an Ordinary Post

February 10, 2011

This post is not an ordinary Laura blog – no stories about insane things I’ve done or experienced or that my friends have done or experienced. Instead I’m announcing that my book “Questions from a Single Heart” has been released. Already books are making their way to Iowa, Ohio, Tennessee, Indiana, Denver, and of course dispersing themselves throughout the great state of Washington.

Writing this book has changed my life and perspective. I can honestly say that I’m happier and more at peace with my life than I’ve ever been before, and I’m praying that it will have the same effect on others.

If you have a single friend that needs a boost, not another book full of preachy suggestions, you may want to direct them to my website http://www.laurashares.com where they can read about me and my ministry as well as an excerpt from the book. If they like what they see, they can easily order a copy by navigating to the “Book” tab and clicking on the “Add to Cart” button. (The book can also be purchased from me directly at one of my speaking engagements which are also conveniently listed on the website.)

Don’t feel left out if you’re not single. Married individuals who have read “Questions from a Single Heart” have said it has helped them to understand their single friends better as well as being beneficial in their own personal lives.

So nope, this isn’t an ordinary Laura blog, but neither is “Questions from a Single Heart” an ordinary book.  You’ll find it to be Scriptural, funny, compelling, and convicting.  I trust you will enjoy it.

I can hardly wait to read this work inspired by your heart and the Lord’s guidance. You have blessed me in conversation, I know your book will be a blessing. As a married mother of many kids, you have inspired me by opening your heart and helping me understand and bless my single sisters.

I praise the Lord for this work that will bring blessing to many believers. Praying for you, sister!
